VGO Hub Policy Compliance

Policy Statement

All students enrolled at Valor Global Online (VGO) who participate in activities at a local Hub are required to comply with all policies, rules, and guidelines established and published by that Hub. Hub policies are in addition to, and not in lieu of, VGO's policies and requirements.

Purpose

VGO partners with independent Hub operators who provide physical community spaces where our online students can gather for enrichment activities, socialization, and academic support. Each Hub operates under its own leadership and establishes policies appropriate to its local context, facilities, and community standards. This policy ensures clarity regarding the relationship between VGO policies and Hub-specific policies.

Requirements

  1. Students and parents must review and acknowledge receipt of the published policies of any Hub they plan to attend before participating in Hub activities.
  2. Students and parents are responsible for staying informed of any updates or changes to Hub policies as communicated by the Hub operator.
  3. Failure to comply with Hub policies may result in the student being excluded from Hub activities at the sole discretion of the Hub operator.
  4. Hub policies may address, but are not limited to: conduct expectations, dress codes, attendance requirements, facility usage rules, safety protocols, registration procedures, and fee structures.

Hub Independence

Hub operators are independent entities that establish their own policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. VGO does not control or dictate Hub policies, though VGO encourages all Hubs to maintain standards consistent with Christian values and educational excellence. Parents should direct questions or concerns about Hub policies to the Hub operator directly.

VGO Enrollment Status

Exclusion from Hub activities does not automatically affect a student's enrollment status at VGO. However, serious or repeated violations of Hub policies may be reported to VGO administration and may be considered in determining whether the student is in good standing with VGO's own code of conduct. VGO reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspension or dismissal, if Hub conduct violations also constitute violations of VGO policies.

Policy Availability

Hub operators are expected to publish their policies in a manner accessible to all enrolled families, whether through a website, written handbook, email communication, or other appropriate means. Parents are responsible for requesting copies of Hub policies if they are not readily available.

Conflict Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding Hub policy interpretation or enforcement, families should first seek resolution directly with the Hub operator. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, families may contact VGO administration for guidance, though VGO cannot override Hub operator decisions regarding Hub access and participation.

Acknowledgment

By enrolling at VGO and choosing to participate in Hub activities, parents and students acknowledge their understanding of and agreement to comply with all applicable Hub policies in addition to VGO policies.
