Spiritual Development

At Valor Global Online, spiritual development is at the heart of our educational philosophy. One of Valor's core values is a focus on being Christ-Centered, honoring God with our lives and actions. While all of our instruction is done through a Biblical worldview, we intentionally disciple our students through various spiritual activities.

Valor Chapel: A Christ-Centered Space

Valor Chapel is a space where Christ is at the center, and His Word is our foundation. We engage as a community in a thriving, grace-filled, supportive, and intentional setting. Here's what students can expect:

Biblical Truths: Expect Biblical truths to be revealed as we address straightforward life challenges and vital issues.
What to Bring: Students should bring their Bible, a notebook/journal, and an open, willing heart to launch into God's next "awesome!"

Weekly Chapel Time

Valor has a full-time chaplain, Pastor Greg Hickman, or "PG" as he is known to our students. He hosts a weekly chapel time for elementary, middle school, and high school students. The schedule for these sessions can be found in the 2023/2024 Valor Global Online Chapel Schedule.

Mission Trips and Bible Classes

In addition to weekly Chapel time, we also disciple our students through:

Mission Trips: Opportunities for hands-on service and spiritual growth.
Bible Classes: Regular classes that explore the teachings and principles of the Bible.

Spiritual Counsel and Support

Pastor Greg is also available for student and family prayer and spiritual counsel. His guidance and support extend beyond the classroom, providing a nurturing spiritual environment for the entire Valor community.

Spiritual development at Valor Global Online is a multifaceted and intentional effort to nurture the spiritual growth of our students. Through Chapel services, mission trips, Bible classes, and the guidance of our chaplain, we strive to create a Christ-Centered community that empowers students to honor God in all aspects of their lives.
