Attendance Policies

Success at Valor Global Online is closely linked to regular participation in our live classes. We believe in fostering growth and success in a collaborative community, and attendance plays a crucial role in achieving this goal.

Attendance Expectations

We strongly believe that attending class live is the best way to ensure academic success and to be an integral part of the VGO community. However, if students can't attend class live they should watch recordings of their classes. Either way, they are responsible for all class materials and work.

Procedures for Absences

Informing Teachers and Advocates: When a student cannot attend a live class, they are expected to proactively and promptly inform their teacher(s) and advocate via email, providing the reason for their absence.
Viewing Recorded Sessions: Should an absence occur, students must view the recorded session made available by the teacher on our learning platform. Our assignments are designed based on classroom discussion and instruction. To effectively tackle and comprehend any missed assignments, students must watch the recorded session(s).
Requesting Extensions: If a student needs an extension on their assignments, they will need to request an extension through the Student Support page.
