Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) are a cornerstone of Valor Global Online's collaborative educational model. These meetings provide a dedicated opportunity for teachers, students, and parents to connect, evaluate progress, and establish goals.
Purpose of PTCs
- Review Academic Progress: PTCs serve as vital touchpoints to review academic progress, evaluate class participation, and discuss personalized support strategies to promote success.
- Scheduled Meetings: PTCs are scheduled at key junctures at the beginning of the second and fourth quarters, ensuring regular communication and collaboration.
- Emphasizing Achievement: Both Advocates and Teachers strongly advocate for PTCs, particularly for those with grades of D, F, or Incomplete (INC).
What to Expect
- 15-Minute Dialogues: PTCs are conducted via Zoom and typically last 15 minutes.
- Celebrating Accomplishments: Teachers celebrate accomplishments, pinpoint opportunities for improvement, and join with students and parents in establishing educational goals based upon the needs of the student.
- Transparent Partnership: Together, we ensure a transparent and empowering partnership, dedicated to the fullest development of each student's God-given potential.
Parent-Teacher Conferences at Valor Global Online are more than just routine meetings; they are a collaborative effort to ensure every student's success. By actively participating in PTCs, parents, students, and teachers can work together to create a supportive and enriching educational experience.
