Assignment Retries
Definition
An assignment retry at Valor Global Online (VGO) is an opportunity for a student who has completed an assignment to attempt it again. This policy is designed to encourage continuous learning and improvement.
Requests will not be granted for the following reasons:
❌ The assignment score is 70% or higher.
❌ There has already been one retry granted.
❌ If an assignment is below 70% because of a late penalty.
❌ The request is not within the month the work was assigned.
Notes:
ℹ️ 80% is the highest score possible for a retry.
ℹ️ Only one retry will be allowed per assignment.
Guidelines
Here are the specific guidelines for requesting and granting assignment retries at VGO:
Eligibility for Retry: A retry is allowed if the assignment score is below 70%.
Requesting a Retry: Students must use the VGO student support page to request a retry. The request can be made at Valor Global Online Student Support.
Restrictions on Retry Requests: Requests for retries will not be granted under the following circumstances:
- The assignment score is 70% or higher.
- There has already been one retry granted for the assignment.
- The assignment score is below 70% due to a late penalty.
- The request is not made within the month the work was assigned.
- Maximum Score for a Retry: The highest score possible for a retry is 80%.
- Number of Retries Allowed: Only one retry will be allowed per assignment.
- Teacher's Response Time: The teacher must reply within 24 hours, confirming the retry.
