At Valor Global Online, we recognize that students may sometimes need additional time to complete assignments due to various reasons such as illness, family events, or other unexpected circumstances. To accommodate these needs, we have established a clear procedure for requesting extensions.

Definition of Extensions

An extension refers to a situation where a student needs a new due date for an assignment they have yet to complete.

When to Ask for an Extension

✅ When you know you will missing class and/or assignments.

✅ When you have unexpected absences (illness, family events, etc.)

✅ If you need a special accommodation.

Procedure for Requesting an Extension

(For elementary students, parents will follow the same procedure)

1. Request Form: Students will use the VGO extension request form at Valor Global Online Student Support.
2. Your teacher and Advocate will receive this extension request. Your teacher will review the email and reply with approval or follow-up.
